That app is dead and should have been removed from BB World. - http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...kberry-989373/

Dear BlackBerry user,
We're writing to inform you about changes coming to CBC News for BlackBerry. In order to serve Canadians in the best way possible, CBC News is moving to an enhanced mobile web experience. We will no longer support the current CBC News app for BlackBerry, but you'll still be able to get our award-winning news, analysis and video from our mobile website.
Visit our mobile website today at cbc.ca/news in any browser on your device, then bookmark it to your home screen. Same great content, delivered to any device, whenever you want it.
Thank you for using CBC News.

You can go to the CBC News web site in the browser and create a shortcut icon to replace the app. They have a good mobile site, so the experience is similar.
Whenever I load and save the the CBC webpage to my Q10 and then open it up comes the news headlines of a day in early August, I think the last day CBC supported the app. I remove it, do it again, same thing. WTF????
I've got three CBC News icons on my phone:
The first one has a large white CBC logo on a red background. It's the Android version of the CBC News App I installed from the Google Play Store using Snap. It works as expected with no issues.
The second one has a smaller white CBC logo on a red background with "CBC" at the bottom in black text on a white background. That's the one I created with "Add to Home Screen" from the vertical three dot menu at the bottom right of the web browser. It also works at expected a displays the web url "cbc.ca/m/touch" at the bottom of the page.
The third one is the now discontinued CBC News app from BlackBerry World. It always says "Today at whatever time it is" in the upper right hand corner, but always shows the same headline from May 2015. I'm going to delete that one and keep the other two.
