    trying to connect to AT&T Wi-Fi on phone- works on other devices- lap top - but has been stuck on acquiring IP address and then it "disables" my Wi-Fi in the settings. Saw where this happen back in June of this year and it was related to BB servers being down.

    Try to delete or "forget" your current wifi profile, reboot the device, make sure it is still "deleted/forgotton", and then renter your wifi info.....

    This would never have anything to do with the BB servers being down. BlackBerry does not control your WiFi connections. Talk to AT&T, their servers were most likely the issue, or try the suggestion above.
