    I have the opportunity to get a z10 with a broken sim card tray/ reader. Will i be able to use this as a wifi only ipod alternative?( I know i can and have with windows, ios, and android, but would like to try bb) Thanks

    Yes: when you start the device (after it has been security-wiped) you will go through the setup process... one step asks you for a SIM or notifies you that there is no SIM, but you can skip that step: another step asks you for WiFi network credentials, so you go ahead and connect to that. Then you will either log in with an existing BlackBerry ID, or you will create one on the device. Then you will get through the rest of the setup and eventually end up with the device ready to use.

    You can even use it as a VOIP phone if that is the issue. Upgrade to 10.3 add 128GB memory card, and you have a better device than any IPod touch, in addition to a killer 144 GB of memory and hdmi out
