    It's probably because you would incur quite a large bill at the end of the month. Take me as an example, if I didn't have a data plan and I just used data, my ISP would charge me. $9 per 100mb used.

    10.3.2.2226 which was 247mb would be around $21 for the update, and it should be free.


    That's probably why BlackBerry have done this, Wi-Fi is always the best option.
