I remember on my Playbook I could have a video continue to play while I have it minimized. (Somewhere in the settings)Also I could play music while recording a video (Great Feature, I had my brother "freestyle" to an mp3 instrumental while I recorded it) that alone got a few of his friends to by a playbook. Where are these features if the PlayBook OS was a taste of BlackBerry 10? Am I missing it or it just doesn't exist?

There is no setting that you can change to my knowledge. It should just work that way.

Just start playing a song and then minimize the app and it will keep playing while you do something else, except, as Frank said, the music stops playing when the video camera starts recording.

+1 .. I want BlackBerry to bring back the "default /showcase " options (pretty sure the default on bb10 is "paused"..)

Bury them in the advanced settings if they have to, but showcase was cool..

Currently on bb10, using the native videos app you can't even watch(listen to) a video with it minimized or with the screen off - the video will pause


.... and to top it all off?? The iPhone can play music (and videos?) while on bbm voice -_-...
