Just got a replacement Q10 from Asurion. They included a SIM card, and their activation instructions say to use it. My carrier is Verizon.
Is that really necessary, or can I just use my existing SIM card?

Yes, you can use your existing SIM card if you would like. We send out the SIM card as one of the standard accessories.
