Can I stop a download in progress on BB10?

if by mistake I did press download on bb10,how can I stop it

From App World you mean? There is a pause button. I suppose you could pause and then exit out of the app world.

After you press pause you will see a circle slash, press this to then cancel the download entirely. :)
