    So I switched carriers from AT&T to Verizon and just received my new z10. I'll be getting the phone number ported today, but a few weeks ago I backed up the AT&T phone using the desktop manager. I'm wondering if I can restore that backup to the new phone that I have now despite the two phones being on different carriers. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Thanks!

    BBLink has a transfer phones feature, would that do what you want. Haven't looked at it but I would guess you would need the old phone. You don't indicate whether you still have it.
