I lost my bold 9930 and have a new classic bb now. I want to remotely wipe out the data on the old phone but it's switched off and not connected to a network cuz i swapped phones. Is that possible?

Not really, but if you had a password on your phone, and someone finds it, they won't be able to use it without wiping the phone first.

    EDIT SINCE I CANT READ:

If it has been lost and has no network, it'll be free game to anyone who finds it unless it was password protected

I don't believe you can wipe it if it is off. Used to be with those older devices BB Protect would wipe it for ya if it was on....but i don't think that's the case if it's off
