Can I purchase an unlocked BlackBerry Classic and put my Verizon SIM into it?

Verizon is not carrying the Classic and I do not want to give up my keyboard.

Unfortunately, no. Verizon phones' primary technology is CDMA, whereas the Unlocked BlackBerry would be GSM. Your Verizon SIM is for the LTE data network only, not for the phone network.
