So I used to have a 9900 and loved it, but switched to iPhone. I decided to get back with BB. I love this device - however, there are some gripes I have with it with regards to apps. Here are the following apps.
Photo apps
Camera app
Google Maps
Internet Browser (if there isn't a better one, how can I change my search engine from bing to google?)
Yelp
I was told I can sideload some of these applications. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but how can I do it?
When you're searching something in the Browser, tap the Bing icon in the top right. A Bing/Google/Yahoo dropdown should appear.
The first link is not needed! It's for OS 10.2.0 and below. But OP can check out the last post on that link to sideload snap(PlayStore Client).

That's not true.
You need a program on the PC to install the Snap .bar file onto the BB10 phone.
To change your search engine, just start typing in the browser bar and tap the bing icon to bring up a list of search providers.
