    Random question I have my old 9700 I lost my battery (long story) could I plug my charger in without battery to see if it still works without damaging it to see if it works before I buy a battery for it?

    So getting a battery is only way to see if it works? A light or nothing will come on by plugging it in without battery?

    What else do you want to hear? It will not work without a battery. The battery powers the device. The charger, charges the battery.
