    Kindly answer my question

I'm from India and I would like to buy an imported Q10 mobile from ebay at very low price. This got 1 year seller warranty only

    1. Is it unlocked phone and can I use it without any issues
    2. Will 3G and 4G work fine in Bangalore, India

    Thanks in advance!

Can you buy it? Of course you can, it's your money. You don't give much in the way of details (which model is it? Which carrier do you want to use the phone on?) to answer your questions specifically, so I'll give you some general information:

-Don't buy a SQN100-4. It cannot be unlocked.
-3G will work fine on all Indian GSM carriers if you get any model but the -4.
-According to this post, only Airtel and Reliance offer 4G in India. Airtel's 4G network in Bangalore is band 40 (TDD/2300 MHz,) while Reliance has/will have a 4G network in Karnataka on band 3 (FDD/1800 MHz.) No Q10 has band 40, but the SQN100-3 model has band 3.

    Thanks for your response,

Sorry, I think my question was not clear to you. The reason why I'm asking is

    1. Q10 is released around 3 years back, is it worth buying now at this price or do you suggest any other mobiles
    2. Ebay is selling at cheaper price with 1 year seller warranty. So, will there be any risk in buying

    Thanks again

Just my opinion, the Q10 is old but it can be upgraded and at the price on eBay, you get a good phone. Make sure it is new and in original box because if it is stolen you will not be able to use it

Sorry i only about z30. It has many version, each version runs in different band or frequncies. It is important to clarify what local operator you will using..

Beside, some country, charge for taxes/ VAT and or custom fee,.. maybe better to prepare more budget for buying from foreign.

2G and 3G will work, 4G likely will not. To confirm 4G, contact Airtel and ask them which band they use for 4G in Rajasthan. If they say band 40, it won't work. If they say band 3, it will work.

In your case, it doesn't matter vis a vis networks compatibility. So focus on figuring out which one you like aesthetically, whether you want wireless charging (-3) or not, etc.

Like I said, for India it does not matter. All three models have the 2G and 3G bands used in India+LTE band 3. None have band 40.

Also, since you're importing from Dubai, you may want to make sure you aren't getting an Arabic keyboard unit.

I bought Q10 finally, it is brand new and working fine. Really loving it!

But 'N' key is not working, I need to really press hard to make it work.

Kindly help if there is any app using which I can map $ key to 'N' key

    Thanks in advance
