    The hardware is rather capable. I do not know what Priv is - but why Blackberry could not port Android to Passport or Classic or other v10 hardware?

    They don't want too.... and feel no obligation to current customers to give them something they did buy. It would take them more resources and effort than it would be worth... as they would gain nothing but additional support issues for themselves and for carriers.
