Just recently I have changed to a 32GB media card. Priory to changing I have backed up with BlackBerry Link. I haven't lost any data however when I now take a photo it saves to the camera folder on the media card. There is no thumbnail picture and they do not show up in the pictures folder.
I have moved them to the picture folder and again they do not show up. Is there anyway of changing where the photos are being saved?

In Camera app swipe down from the top > Settings > Save on Media Card > Off

Thanks, that works and I can view these from the picture folder. I would prefer to save on the media card but the save like this and can't be viewed as sideshow.

Maybe there is a SD Card formatting problem. Have you formatted it in the phone?

I was thinking that but I did format it in the phone. May well have to save to device and copy over from time to time. Little bit odd as I haven't changed anything other than the card. (tried to post a photo of the media card folders but forum not letting me)

*update* Sorted. Format media card in phone then remove memory card. Reboot phone (hold volume up & down) and re-insert media card. This will then sync folders to phone functions. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.

This worked like a charm. I had a similar issue with my Z30 this week after upgrading from my Z10. My microSD card was formatted previously on my Z10. After upgrading to the Z30 I just swapped my old SD card into the new phone. My issue was that after taking a photo the thumbnail stored only the most recent photo and nothing more. When pressing the thumbnail to launch the camera folder on my SD card (where my photos should be saving) it was actually opening the camera folder on the device. So I couldn't scroll through any recent photos, only old screenshots. After reformatting the microSD through my Z30, it didn't fix a thing, I had the same issue. Until I read this post that is. Removed the microSD from the Z30. Did a hard reset with the volume rockers. Let the phone reboot. Reinserted the microSD. Voila, pressing the picture thumbnail on the camera now launches me into the camera folder on my SD card. Awesome. Thanks Op!
