    I'm sending an iOS user messages and its showing green ticks. I know this means that they have to open the app to see the message. However, what happens if I call the user?

    The eyeglass and phone icons at the top right of the BBM screen will be green when the iPhone user is connected to network data or Wi-Fi and able to receive messages or calls.

    If the icons are not green, the user isn't available.
