    I try to call my home land line and my torch 9800 goes directly to my wireless carrier's voice mail. Sorry but I just jumped 15 years in in cell technology and I have probably Made a mistake setting it up. Any help would be appreciated.

    Any chance you started with and pressed the 1 key for too long? Long pressing 1 is generally for voice mail.
