i dunno what i did, but the view (i use Daily)/text has gotten really, really small.
and i can't find any corresponding setting.

any ideas?

Presumably you mean got smaller after MM update on the home page? Mine did too, I fixed mine by holding the time/date and stretching it out to a better size although I had to remove a few apps from the homepage to another screen to allow more space for the enlargement.
