The fact that reminders no longer sound on calendar entries is unacceptable! If i had updated during the week, I would have missed lots of appointments due to this issue! Luckily I upgraded on the weekend and noticed my not as important weekend reminders we not working as they should!! It is a time consuming and frustrating mess to now have to re-enter all calendar events to an alarm, so I can hear alerts for my daily appointments!! FIX this ASAP PLEASE!! Who knows what important events ill be missing in April due to this MAJOR issue.

Have you check your notification sounds and preferences, along with volume??

Specifically the active notification then in applications (notifications, profile, applications, calendar) , check volume for calendar.

Thanks! I just tried it and still no sound. I saw a few posts last week stating this same issue and that BB was aware and working on a fix. Hope it's soon! I do appreciate you suggestion.

No worries. Hopefully soon. This OS release, after 5mths taking longer than promised is showing where BlackBerry went wrong - too many layoffs

Note: If you have this same/similar issue on a BlackBerry 10 device other than the BlackBerry Passport (BlackBerry Classic, Z30, Z10, Z5, Z3, Q10, Q5, etc...), this post may still be of great assistance in this matter.

Regarding the Calendar/Remember tasks audible notifications issue, as well as the integration of Remember tasks with the Calendar app, I have personally contacted Michael Clewley regarding this, and am proud to report that, at least as of the recent BlackBerry Passport OS update (OS Version 10.3.1.2558), this issue has been resolved for the most part - I have personally tested this myself. (However, the display still doesn't turn on alongside the audible notification.)
