[CrackBerry Question]

Hi all!

I'm planning to buy a Blackberry Passport off-contract in a couple of days, but before I pull the trigger, I was hoping to check whether certain apps are available (and are in good working condition/updated) in the native BB appstore as well as the Amazon Appstore.

Here are the apps:

Waze
Viber
Whatsapp
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram
Grabtaxi
Spotify

I really need the following apps and I was hoping there wouldn't be a need to sideload from Google Play Store anymore. I understand that using the Passport, we can now get apps from both the native appstore as well as Amazon.

I really hope these apps are available. I really love the form factor of the Passport and its reportedly immense battery life. Unfortunately, functionality comes first.

Kindly advise.

All of those are available but some are not available from the native appstore. You just need to install the Google playstore following the 'cobalt' method. It's pretty simple really.

So does this mean that some of these apps are not on the Amazon Appstore? Because if they are, I'd rather just download them from there without needing to access Goggle Play Store.

Also, how reliable are these apps (either from native app store or Amazon Appstore)?

I'm using shazam and instagram together with the fotor app from google play.
All works well and as fast as on my gf her huawei p7
