I have just bought a second item from a very reputable appliance online store using my Passport . They do have the padlock in the address line.
I found that not only does it have a pop up and tap function for faster entry on the forms for my name and address it's also doing it on my credit card details including the security code.

They say it's the phone and to delete my history. I say it's their mobile page because it doesn't happen on my PC.

    Who's right?

Whoa, that's a big security failure. My guess would be it's the fault of the mobile site. That actually violates the rules for accepting credit cards.

You should insist they fix the site. Or consider sharing the name of the store so someone else can verify the bug on mobile chrome or mobile safari.

No, it's probably on your browser history. Of course that depends on how often you use your card, if it's the first time, then it's on their site.

And no, your browser history between your PC and your blackberry is not the same.

    Clear your history.

It's the second time I've used my card on the phone. Both times on their site. The card number I can deal with its the security code that concerns me.
    It's appliancesonline.com.au
I might have to just use private browsing for purchases.

Totally the site. Particularly the way its data fields are coded. If they were coded properly as password or secure fields, this wouldn't be the case.
