    I recently bought a used playbook and all it has is the browser. Am experiencing some difficulties, which am hoping someone may help me with;
    1. Does the camera need a special app for its operation? I cant even see the snap "buttton" (except the -/+ combination on the side, which just takes the on screen shot),
    2. The desktop manager will not allow me to load music or photos to the playbook. Keeps giving an error message saying "A problem occurred while attempting to connect to your BB device". Am using windows 7 OS on my laptop.

    Its frustrating that a that I cant use gadget for anything at the moment.

    Will greatly appreciate any help

    Since you got it second hand, perform a security wipe and agree to update when prompted to.

    Will solve your problems.

    Yeah. To diegos point there was a way to fail an OS installation in such a way to accidentally have no apps instead of the browser. A wipe's the only way to go without sideloading everything manually. And even then core OS components will still be missing.
