    Priv maybe but I don't see how the DTEK50 (the 60 might never be released and isn't a current option) is a competitor for the Nexus 6p - they aren't on the same planet.

    I think the OP has already made his mind up at this point....

    I really don't know how BlackBerry plans to sell the DTEK60 at this point. The almost would need to put in writing some kinda of guarantee of how long they will keep developing Android.... will they provide Nougat and Android "O".

    I went with a Droid back six months ago - PRIV was not out on Verizon then and my Z10 had to be replaced. Next time I'll be buying I hope Google has worked a deal to bypass OEMs and Carriers with updates, otherwise I'll be going with a Google phone. That's if I don't just switch to an iPhone... more I compare my wife's iPhone to my Droid, the less restrictive and closed off Apple really seems to be.
