According to some sources sta100-2 model can support these bands 1,3,7,8,20 (LTE) respectively. However my STA-100-2 Z30 model doesn't support band 1 (LTE). Its only 3g. Any idea about this?

I think I know one of the sources you're talking about, and it's incorrect. The STA100-2 does not support LTE band 1. The STA100-6 is the only one that does.

I actually seen this info from several sources that it does support band 1 (LTE). I think the sta100-6 (9) is the China model?

Those sources--if they cite their original source--will all probably link back to this one, which is very wrong about a lot of details, and was written pre-release.

The STA100-6 is sold by carriers at least in South Africa. Maybe in the Philippines/SE Asia as well, but you'd know more about that

    There is no STA100-9.
