Is that even possible? I don't know what happened there but my BlackBerry came with whatsapp pre-installed. I thought all of them did but was surprised to know they didn't. I bought it from shop blackberry so I'm a bit confused. It could be a used device. Did anyone else receive a Z30 with whatsapp pre-installed?

Could someone also tell me how to check when an app was installed? Like the date when the app was installed

It could also be a carrier pushed app or directly from BlackBerry. Remember that Whatsapp isn't necessarily an enemy and they're even in the BlackBerry Beta Zone. My BB came with YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Box, Evernote, and a bunch of other pre-installed apps.

Shouldn't have had it pre-installed. Sure it isn't a refurbished device?

Did you go through the initial setup? That's the only way to know the device hasn't had anything installed beforehand

The device is running smoothly and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable problem. I'm not trying to get this 'used mobile' thought into my mind and ruin my Z30 ordeal. Oh God I'm dearly in love with this phone I love it so much.

So delete it and forget about it. Enjoy your device, no big deal.

Even if it was, when the BBID was entered it would have been a fresh clean install. Wiped clean.
