    Tried to check update for my Z30 because somebody posted new BB10 update available. Got errors to connect to the update server. Shame on blackberry.

    If you haven't read the article you might want to...you may reconsider updating....no significant changes.

    Reboot your phone.

    Is your phone a true factory unlocked? Or is it dependent on a local carrier pushing out the update?

    Connection is OK after reboot but no updates. My Z30 is true factory unlocked.

    Don't really know of a new OTA update.... what version are you on and what update did your friend "get" (are you sure he didn't do a manually update)?
