    The Blackberry Playbook has been discontinued for a long time and, at the moment, no one makes a BB tablet.

    I don't keep up on the tablet market. I recently did purchase a MS Surface Book but it is quite large. It is a convertible - that is the screen can be separated from the keyboard but the battery in the screen portion does not last very long. And, again, it is a large tablet.

    There was some talk by Chen a month back about the possibility of a tablet coming from BlackBerry Mobile. I had heard rumors about a BlackBerry android tablet last summer. Lets see if it comes to life

    No BlackBerry tablets any more but could happen in the future. JC did mention something earlier in the year but I don't trust most of his statements. He's a "great" speaker and speaks quite vague.
    Rumour has it Apple may discontinue their iPad Mini line but I think they're rebranding their products for the next ten years in an attempt to simplify.
    Surface is a great tablet and some of the Sammy Tabs are good also.

    Surface Pro, Google Pixel C, or iPad Pro if you have the budget.

    iPad 5 is really hard to beat on value @ $329.

    Galaxy Tab S3 and Nexus 9 are also worthy of consideration.

    @jmr 1015. I know about iPad air 1&2, iPad mini and 2017 New iPad, I don't know iPad 5. I think Apple makes the best tablet.
