Currently 20 hours into a security wipe on my Q10. First security wipe done on this phone (purchased it brand new). First 6 months were great, the last 6 months it has been nothing but trouble. Couldn't send pictures through text messages, couldn't delete emails/messages through the hub, some days it just wouldn't receive messages or let messages been sent, all the contacts were messed up (cell numbers under the wrong names.. so weird I know) . Really big pain in the you know what.. So security wipe it is.. now on hour 20. Little blue wheel is still turning away .. phone has been plugged in charging.. Should I just let it keep going?

    That Q10 is messed up!
I'd battery pull that bad boy

Ivs had this problem before with a number of BlackBerry and I yank the battery if it takes longer than 4 hours.

I think 20 hours sounds a bit extreme but a security wipe can take a very long time. When I wiped my Z30 it took a worrying long time but after leaving it overnight, everything went through fine. If that little wheel is still turning, just let it do its thing.
