    Hi I've just sold a BlackBerry Z30 on eBay. Before I sold it I turned off blackberry protect then security wiped the device and removed it from my BlackBerry Protect account. The buyer is saying it won't let him enter a new blackberry id? Is there anything I can do as the buyer is being difficult.

    I'm sure I did it on the device before I wiped it and I logged onto the blackberry protect online account and removed it.

    Is the phone demanding that he enter a BlackBerry ID? Because it will only do that if anti-theft is still active. (On a new/wiped phone you have the option to skip BBID setup till later.) And if that's the case you need to take the phone back and properly wipe it.

    Ask him if he can skip BBID.
