Hi. The main charging port of my BlackBerry PlayBook is broken, damaged somehow (the usual mini USB port we all use. However there is an another port next to it as it is on my phone. What is this called? I keep showing it to stores and they say they don't know what kind of charger should fit there. Can I order that and how exactly is it called? If is a charging port isn't it?

That is the mini hdmi port, not a charging port. Used for video out to a computer monitor or TV.
dna47 has the correct answer. That is the only way to charge your Playbook now since the regular port is damaged. The Playbook is notorious for having an easily damaged mini usb but the good news is that rapid charge port is still available and the chargers are very cheap now.
