    The playbook is creating same duplicated of the files in the misc, android folder, there are two folders movies folder and has the same exact content as the original video file, therefore taking up more space then it should. When I checked the size using properties on windows, it showed that it is around 4-6gbs.

    please help as to how i can prevent this.

    How are you getting the files onto the PlayBook?
    Have you done a backup and restore lately?

    They are not duplicates. The folders in the Android directory are symbolic links to the native media directories made for the Android runtime. You only have one copy of the files.
