I've had a BlackBerry passport for a few weeks, and I've noticed that the swipe to unlock screen feature is not working like it should. I will swipe up from the bottom many times and it will either not register at all, or just wake the screen up and I have to swipe up again. Most of the time, it does not register at all. Any ideas why this is happening?

Pressing U + enter key should help.

Have you tried to swipe up beginning from the bottom of the keyboard? Sometimes the swiping finger misses the very bottom of the screen, so that the gesture is not recognized. Or cold fingertips?!
When it happens to me, I swipe from a lower starting point, sometimes from the space bar and up!

Try not to swipe too fast. My wife does that on her phone and complains about the same issue, while I don't have any problems with it on the same device.

lol at cold fingertips. to answer your question though...yes I swipe starting from multiple points, and I am definitely not missing the bottom of the screen. it doesn't matter if I do it slowly or quickly, it just simply does not recognize the gesture. I did a little digging around, and it looks like it could be a software bug because i'm not the only one that this is happening to. thanks for the suggestions! i'm open to more input.
