good morning, I have recently bought a blackberry passport from ebay and it appears to be blacklisted i.e. it receives the mm#6 error on the device.
I cannot get in touch now with the seller.
    What are my options?
    Thanks.
    Liam.

Or u can sell it to someone outside your country. But then that's illegal in some countries. Seems like the seller reported the phone lost or stolen and therefore it's IMEI number blacklisted on your country's carriers. If you have proof of purchase and are willing to fight a legal battle, you can contact your carrier, with a statement from the law enforcement agencies showing that you legally purchased it and the seller fraudulently blacklisted it. It's a long shot but it does work sometimes.

That happens in my country as well, South Africa, but if you have proof of purchase with the device's packaging with the bar coded IMEI you can win the case and have it unblacklisted
