    Hi Guys,

I am Deep from Kolkata, India. I purchased my BlackBerry Passport just 5 months ago & it was terrific in-terms of all expect. Mainly I use my BlackBerry PP for official works like lot of emails, messages, calls & Skype. It was giving me a battery bck up of 30 hrs, but suddenly I start facing problems just 5-6 days ago. My BlackBerry PP is getting too heated up that I can't hold it even & it is happening just after a shot call like 2-3 mins or 1,2 email type etc.. from the same time my battery is getting drained just within 4 hrs: (without using much). I went to local BlackBerry authorised service center & they did some software update & other necessary things, but it is still the same. Pls pls pls help

The only thing I can suggest is what I've read, and that is to remove any android apps you may have installed until you find which one is draining your device. Can you recall what particular procedure (app install?) may have initiated the drain?

Yah. I have already removed Snap & other Android apps, but it is still same. It was not started while or after installing any App.

I would look at these forums, see what OS + radio works best for the PP and start from scratch.

You also might check out for "headless" apps, that work on the background and that might have influence on that heat!

Check out your system monitor, may be you get a clue.
