    I called Verizon and they tell me that the Blackberry Passport and Classic models are not sold by Verizon; nor can an unlocked phone be activated by Verizon. WTH?

    That's the problem with CDMA.

    Anyway, the Classic should be coming to Verizon: AT&T, Verizon and other carriers confirm they will sell the BlackBerry Classic | CrackBerry.com
