    Whatsapp is ending support for Blackberry phones coming end 2016. This is the latest after Facebook etc. Why is there no upgrade in the system to keep in length with some of the popular applications? This is important for a smart phone.

    It's not the OS. It's WhatsApp deciding they don't want to spend the time and/or money on support.
