In trying to go from Cherry Hill NJ to Philadelphia PA, my friends iphone plots a route taking 20min. My Blackberry maps plots a route taking 2h22min!!!

Changing the settings doesn't seem to matter but I suspect something is screwed up with traffic enhanced routing.

I should add that the iphone was using Google Maps.

I'm using a Q10.

Check your BB maps settings under route options and make sure that the avoid options are not all turned on.

I had avoid tolls set to OFF. But I had traffic enhance routing ON.

I wish that Blackberry Maps worked like Blackberry Traffic did on OS7. BB Maps makes a lot of mistakes, and doesn't give you as much information. I loved having an ACCURATE E.T.A. based on the traffic, and I also miss being able to see where in my route the traffic issues would be. It was always DEAD on in Los Angeles and Orange County.

BlackBerry maps give me very accurate ETA and the map view shows me red roads when there traffic issues. I use it almost daily and it works great in the northeast USA.
