    I have a Blackberry leap with blackberry 10 OS. My Blackberry shows up on my works network where as non of my previous smart phones never have (windows OS). I do use my phone for work while at work so they don't have a issue for me to connect on their WIFI but yesterday they noticed it on the network as a media device and were concerned. How do I get my phone not to show up but still connect to their WIFI.

    Ask your IT admin to deny read/write rights to your BB leap and it should be fine thereon.

    I dont think theres a way to not let the leap show up on the wifi.... and it's possible that it shows up due to the deep/native integration that is BB10's strength.

    Since i use blend on my PC my bb10 device shows up as a media device on my PC.

    You guys use BES?
