I might be wrong but as far as I know, there's no setting for that, it's all automatic.

I would like to see the events of a week, or better: the next five events, regardless when they are. Why isn't this configurable? I would call this an important feature that could replace these superfluous reminders. And this list shouldn't disappear.

I totally agree to you... it will help in managing appointments more efficiently...
