Hi my friend drop his blackberry Z10 on the top, so there is a very minor dent - phone worked fine. After turning it off and later turning it back on, the phone gets stuck at 67%.

When we plugged it into blackberry link on windows, the phone connected but not well. The link told us to hold in the button for 10 seconds which worked and the Green LED came on, phone still not fully recognised by the Link. So he used the reload device function, the software is currently being downloaded.

Is it a hardware problem possibly or should it work after we reload the software? Like can dropping a phone actually do anything to the software?

    Thanks.
