    One thing that really helps with my classic's battery and any other phone is making sure your emails are not set on push. Meaning it constantly keeps looking for new emails. I have mine set up to every 24 hours. But that's just because I don't need my email so much like I need BBM or whatever. So change that to a longer time. Normally they're set up to push.
