    Hi,

so this morning my wife's Blackberry Classic suddently started to (attempt to) repoot over an over.

It boots for a couple of seconds until the white "Blackberry" appears on screen and then reboots again.

I saw some suggestions regarding this issue which involved connecting the phone to a PC, but it isn't recognized by Windows Explorer or Blackberry Link. I ofc tried to press the on/off button for a while, connecting the phone to the charger and waited till the battery died to recharge it, of which nothing helped.

Is there any way to fix this issue?

Have you pressed an held the power button to reboot.

You'll probably need to try downloading an Autoloader and run it. It should "catch" the device during the boot cycle and allow you to reinstall the OS.

If it's just a corrupted software problem, this should work. But your wife's data is gone, hope she did backups....
