I have been having my classic for abit less than a week now and I got it from Beirut-Lebanon. First days was amazing as battery life (among other things). But since I came back to Rome... it has been a nightmare, cannot stay for more than 4-5 hours on a single charge. I know italy technology wise is very behind when it comes to 4G and 3G implementation ( I can hear my phone screaming to get signal) but can it be that of a battery drain? My flatmate has a Samsung s3 and he had the same experience. Is there any solution?

Weak signal is indeed a major drain source. I'd stick to 3G or 2G, whichever has the best signal and only go 4G when you were certain you'd get at least 3 bars.

Hey thank you, I tried it for 2 days now and GOD it really is significant


Now it works much better. Always on 3G though which is fine 4G isn't that good in Italy anyway.
