[CrackBerry Question]

Cannot send gmail from my devices. Bold 9900 and bold 9780. Also cannot send whether on network or via wifi on device. Is blackberry having issue speaking with gmail outgoing servers?

Apparently, the post is from years ago, and it worked fine for years when WiFi was accessible with the standard Blackberry builtin browser
Suddenly today, access with valid credentials - not even able to enter those.

Either the browser used does not support JavaScript or JavaScript is disabled.
So your Google-Account stays secure you should register with a browser who has JavaScript activated.

I had some time to look into this.... JavaScript was and is enabled on this device, yet the Gmail error message states differently...

Not sure what is happening here... seems one cannot talk/email to Gmail/Google and one person there makes a decision to cause certain devices disabled and functions working for years suddenly disappear for unknown reasons!

I like the 9720's, they are small, still have good functionality, sync to desktop, have a track-pad which beats imprecise finger sliding/pointing as done on other, newer devices...

If anyone knows of a BB device with track-pad and current Gmail functionality (BB Classic ?), please post...

It works again without the misleading and wrong error message showing javascript not present nor activated... Oh, typo - 9780 is the correct model, 6.0 Bundle 3049 (v6.0.0.706, Platform 6.6.0.246)
