    I bought a new sim card for my BlackBerry 7290. I inserted it but, after showing looking for network connection it keeps telling me that the sim card is rejected. I then tried to unlock it because I thought that might be the solution. How ever after entering mepd it sais
    Sim Card disabled
    Network inactive and the rest is disabled too. I then tried to enter the unlock code but after typing in mep2 and mepp2 nothing would happen.

    Take the SIM back to the POS and have them test or test it in another device. Sounds like it was never active to begin with.
