Hi all, brand new to CrackBerry. Been using a blackberry since the "track-ball", and I won't switch devices no matter what! I've seen the new BlackBerry Priv, and it looks great but it's running Android (at least it has the Hub). Does this spell the end for BB10 os? Ideally, I would LOVE a device that runs BB 10 os, but has FULL (legitimate) access to Android apps, including Google Play Services. Any word on that? Until then, I'm running my z30, with SNAP wich has helped bridge the "app gap". Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

There are loads of threads and blog posts on the Priv and the possible future of BB10. I suggest you read them on. But as of now, NOTHING is written on stone.

Samsung's primary OS on their hands sets is Android, obviously. But they are nurturing their own OS, "Tizen". Designed for cheaper handsets now. Perhaps BBerry will find a way to keep OS 10 alive.

We can only hope BlackBerry decides to release a bb10 device in the future, even if it is one device per year and you have to buy direct from BlackBerry. If they don't I'm gonna have to stock pile devices to hand out to my employees.
