[CrackBerry Question]

I help people with their smartphone and tablets and this is the third time (including my own) that I have had issues with contacts on the 10. Never on the older ones. Here is the latest scenario

When you go to contacts is says 6888 contacts even though

1. Made sure no contacts are ON under accounts
2. Sim card has nothing
3. Blackberry Link was removed.
3. Under contacts all are OFF

It is driving me crazy!!! Where are they coming from?

If you have done all the above, then what you're left with must be Local Contacts -- in other words, contacts stored on the device itself, not syncing from anywhere. To delete those, go to Settings > Accounts > overflow menu (3 vertical dots at bottom right). From the popout menu, select "Clear Local Contacts". Note that once they're gone, they're permanently gone (unless you've backed them up).
