    Please help. My phone is showing that BBM is running at 22% and killing my battery. This just started with in the last 24 hours. Nothing is open or running with this application. I have shut my phone completely off and restarted only to find it still using 22% of my battery. Any suggestions??? Please help! I don't like it killing my battery like this.

    Any chance your in a bad area for signal?

    Some staff in remote areas started to get this as they traveled around, sometimes getting LTE sometimes nada.

    Not saying that this will help for sure but we selected manual for network and selected 3G and the issue went away after a full reboot.

    Regardless if it is used or not it should never be above 1% use of the battery...

    This is a real issue that comes up and is cross platform.

    I have been in an area with an excellent service.

    I only use BBM very rarely. The last time I used it was one day last week.

    Usually the battery usage is less than 1%. This is not normal for my phone. I can't uninstall the app. So I don't know what to do.
