BBM not working
Hello everyone...
I'm new in posting here so pardon me if I'm wrong anywhere. I'm a big blackberry fan and using it starting with my lovely BlackBerry Bold 9900. I've been using BBM flawlessly on it. But after upgrading to a bb10 device z10, I've just tried everything possible to make my BBM work but it won't. When I open it, a circle rotates that means it's loading and then a message pops up reading "No blackberry data found: unable to connect to server". There is red exclamation mark. I've read a bunch of forums on this website. But to no avail. I have restarted/rebooted. Done a hard reset, the battery pull, security wipe. Tried to swap any other sim. And I have checked in sim properties, it is indeed unlocked, all the three options there read unlocked. I have contacted three service provides who's sim I swapped in, all say there is no any problem from there side. I have tried going to settings>about>network>register. I love the device, but just couldn't make it to work.
So if you could pls tell me if I can sideload the android version (I've tried but not been able to do). If can get it working with even the android one, I will love it. I love the device.
Any help will be appreciated.

download BBM from this site and see if that helps. You need to re-install BBm

Reinstall BBM. On bb10 device? I don't know how its possible to Uninstall BBM on BlackBerry z10.

Remove sim connect on WiFi and try bbm. Then put in sim and it should sync.

I tried it. I removed my sim card, turned my device back on, connected to my brother's mobile Hotspot and tried to run BBM. But again the same problem.
