It is using too much of my battery life.
I never opened BBM but it is consuming battery life. What to do?
    Can I delete it?

You don't use bbm but it is eating your battery? Why so weird? Never happened to me before. But I'm always using bbm.

Are you using it from the Hub or as a standalone ? Using it from the Hub is much easier on the battery.

You are not understanding I don't even use BBM. I use what's app because all my friends use that. I open BBM occasionally and BBM was draining my battery when I was sleeping and kept the device in bedside mode.

When you open it you can long press the X on the app or in device monitor. Or restart your phone with the volume rockers

There is no solution to this currently. it'll happen for a few days and then go back to normal. Nobody knows what causes it and even if your phone is in aeroplane mode, it will still drain. The volume reset will do nothing, and a security wipe will only postpone the problem. It has occurred to me, my brother in law and more recently my daughter. This seems to happen for a few days and then everything goes back to normal.

If you don't use BBM ever, then turn on parental control under security in the settings and disable BBM. This should solve your problem.

I got that problem second time again. Contacted to BBM and as same as before told to restart the device or hard reset it. It doesn't help at all. Now my phone is heating. How many times did you encounter it?is it still happening?

It only happened the once with me but my Brother in Law has had it a couple of times. Try disabling BBM in the parental controls.

Pull down the quick settings, go to settings, security and privacy, parental controls. From there you can disable some apps.
